The AEC was established in 2011 as a committee of the Arizona Technology Council. The AEC became a stand-alone 501(c)(3) in April 2015 and was established to:
- Promote and seek opportunities to collaborate within the industry on growth and retention of energy companies in the state
- Promote economic development initiatives that support the energy industry and continued technological development
- Be a credible, member-driven voice for Arizona’s energy industry
- Provide meaningful input into the long-term strategic planning for industry growth statewide
Michelle De Blasi, Fennemore Craig, and Christopher Davey, EnviroMission, serve as the AEC Co-Executive Directors.
The AEC Monthly Forum meetings are held on the third Friday of each month. Subcommittees, focused on single projects, meet separately.
